turning OFF password requirement in Lock Screen

Macbook Air Lock Screen, my "Require password after screen saver begins or display is turned off" setting is set at 'Immediately' and the drop down menu is grayed out so I cannot change it. How can I access it to turn OFF the requirement to add a password??

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.0

There’s a padlock icon at the bottom of that settings pane, click it to unlock the settings. It requires an administrator password, so if you’re not an administrator on the Mac, you can’t change the setting. Also, if it’s a company or school issued Mac, that setting can be disabled with a profile (and you can’t change it).

Nope, there's an "Accessibility Options..." button, no padlock icon at the bottom of Systems Settings Lock Screen. This is a personal laptop that never leaves my home and I am the only one who uses it. I've never had this problem before I updated to macOS Sequoia version 15.0.1 yesterday. Under the "Require password after screen saver begins or display is turned off" there is a sentence "Password immediately required when iPhone Mirroring is set to automatically authenticate." I do not use iPhone Mirroring.
