I got my iPhone 15 Pro Max 2 weeks ago and its running iOS 17.0.3. Before I sleep I left it with 100% battery charge, waking up after 7hrs my battery went to 89% without even using it. Even though I followed all the settings in the internet on how to keep my battery from draining too fast but the problem still the same. I even put it on low power mode all the time. I hope they will fix this as soon as possible.

There is nothing to fix. Any cell phone uses energy continuously, as long as it isn’t powered off. This means that if it is not connected to power for 8 hours the battery level will be lower at the end of that time. How much lower depends on what apps you have, how many notifications you have enabled (which will be delivered and processed by apps even if you force close apps-they will relaunch when a notification arrives), and, probably most important, how strong your cellular signal from the network is; your phone maintains a "conversation" with the network so your phone can be found when a call or text arrives, and low signal strength requires much more energy to do this update to the network. Thus, you should be charging your phone overnight so this nighttime usage is powered by the external source rather than the battery.
And 11% overnight is a reasonable discharge rate for the normal things that any smartphone does; a smartphone is never without use; there are always processes running on it.
So this is what Verizon is telling me. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?! My phone is brand new. I literally just got it.

Battery- I have just upgraded from iPhone 13 after 2 years due to always having to charge every day. I upgraded to 15 pro max and I have to say really disappointed in the battery life. I have closed all background apps. I work all day and maybe on phone a for a little bit at night and battery runs down super fast. I can’t believe it. Is there a serious issue. Iv seen post saying switch of this that and the next thing but surely if have to switch half the things off the phone is not fit for purpose??

I got my iPhone 15 pro max on November 2023 vs my friend got her iPhone 15 pro max on December 2023. We are getting in different batches , hers has charging cycle for 220 count while mine is 110 count however her battery capacity is still 100% while mine is reduce to 95% . Why is that so ? Is apple in different manufacturers batches have different quality? This is not fair to early bird customer whole will suffer for the end lost.
Well, if anything, the iPhone 15 batteries are so freaking good! I was just an issue with apps doing something wrong with their app versions for iOS, Instagram was a big offender of this. It wasn’t Apple’s fault at all. I have 285 cycle counts on my 15 promax and I’m at 98% battery health, which is insane compared to my iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Was charges 100 % before I fall asleep . Battery drain to 76 % once I wake up . Shall I active airplane mode while sleeping ?
I fully charges my phone and go to bed . Once wake up left 76 % . Why did it happen.
if charge while I sleep . Won’t be over charge?
Of course, if you lose the phone now you will not be able to find it using Find My.
I’m using iPhone 15, the battery is draining so quickly, whether I’m using phone or not, it’s just not performing well. Very disappointed by the battery of 15 series.

my phone olso have same problem battery draining to quick n olso I tern off all the back ground apps
I charge mine over night and what happens is it gets to 80% then goes in to optimal mode and tells me the phone will finish charge at 3am. As my alarm goes off at 05.20 it’s not on to long 😊
