"Pinch to zoom" doesn't work with YouTube on IPad

I have a brand new IPad 10.2, 9th generation and the "pinch to zoom" feature works everywhere, except on YouTube. Sometimes I need to enlarge the videos I'm watching. How can I fix this problem?

apple does not make the google apps and may not be willing to kick their apps out of app store if google does not

comply with users wishes

Hi Rudegar, thanks for responding to my question, but I’m afraid I don’t understand. I’m a senior who is not “tech” savvy at all. Where can I find the Google app you mention and what is it called? Thanks again!
