I have a 2008 iphone and i was wondering if it is a collectors item

I've got a 2008 iPhone I heard one just sold at auction for over $190,000 of course it was new in a box never been open mine has been open though so I'm looking to find out what made that phone so valuable and and compare

That particular phone was only valuable because it was never opened in original packaging. Phones similar to your go on eBay for $15; pretty much useless devices.
