Business incorrectly listed as 'Permanently Closed' in Apple Maps

A few times now people have rung my small business to ask if we are open because Apple Maps says we are 'Permanently Closed'.


Steps taken so far:


  • Have checked the details on https://businessconnect.apple.com/. It says we are open.
  • Have tried to report the issue a number of times via the Apple Map app. Now have 5 reports in review. Looks like no one checks these.
  • Have emailed the places-on-maps-support@apple.com, which was supplied by a support call worker. No replies.


Thought Businessconnect would allow direct control of our listing but does not seem to be the case.


I feel this is really bad if people think our small business is listed as permanently closed but I don't know how long we've been listed as such and what else I can do about it.


btw Google Maps is listing us as open so it's definitely a Apple Maps issue.

I’m having the exact same problem. It’s been going on for months. I’ve lost so much business as a small business it has ruined me this year.


the solutions provided are definitely not working. Business connect is definitely not working for me.

I've been dealing with this same issue regarding our Apple Maps listing. I contacted Apple Map Support 12 days ago when I first notice the issues, and they assured me it would be fixed within 48 hours. However, as of today, our business still shows as permanently closed. Despite sending multiple follow-up emails, I have not received any responses. When I called for assistance, I was told that this issue must be handled via email, leaving us in limbo. Meanwhile, this misinformation has likely cost us numerous customers. It would be preferable for our business not to appear on Apple Maps at all than to be incorrectly listed as permanently closed. Can anyone here offer some solution for this?
