Hey alcir17,

It sounds like you are trying to update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS 16, which is iOS 16.7.1. First, as outlined in the article you referenced, it's important to note that this update was released for iPhone 8 and later models.

If you have an iPhone 8 or later, this Apple Support article will be helpful: If your iPhone or iPad won't update. You may need to remove the partially downloaded iOS file and download it again.

Remove and download the update again
If you still can't install the latest version of iOS or iPadOS, try downloading the update again:
1. Go to Settings > General > [Device name] Storage.
2. Find the update in the list of apps.
3. Tap the update, then tap Delete Update.
4. Go to Settings > General > Software Update and download the latest update.

Note that you will need to update with a computer if you're not able to update your device wirelessly.

Kindest Regards.
