No titles on video files I imported from PC

Hello

I imported a bunch of Mp4 videos using the backup transfer

feature that shows when you click on your iPhone in the home screen on my M1 mac

mini. The issue is: All my videos show up on the phone as square boxes, I don't see any

titles or options to change to a list view in photos. Why is this not an option. I just see 88 box thumbnails for videos and have no idea what video to pick. I need an option to display the videos by title.

This is driving me nuts. I've been using android phones for

12 years and they are a breeze. I want to return this iPhone 15 Pro and never

look back. My friends having been telling me for years how great these are and that androids are junk. Please prove it. The android was simple, it worked like a thumb drive. You create

folders in MS windows on the phone and then drag ANYTHING you want on the

phone. Everything showed up on the phone as it did when you created the

folders. Everything worked, Videos, music, pictures.

I even tried moving the files from windows NTFS to an exFAT

file system, then setting the permissions of the folders and sub files two

Read/Write in the Mac OS. These files are locked on the phone and can't be

deleted. That’s not a big issue to me, But I can't see what videos I'm playing,

there is no title. Why does everything have to be so difficult apple?

I already tried the aspect ratio, made no difference

And I already brought these files over via exFAT. The file permissions are not the issue. By the way, macs can read NTFS, just not write to it without special software. The issue is that photo library on the iPhone is set to display thumbnails only. What's odd is that iTunes and photos program(s) lets you add videos to your photo library, but then gives no option to set view preferences in the folder. I let 5 senor Apple media techs take control of my phone and they all admitted that, the problem is, is that the genius software engineers at Apple never installed sort options in the menus that let you view files in a list layout. There is a sort option, but only gives you options to view by newest to oldest. I've already emailed the software team with screenshots. This is absurd that I have even tell these THEM about this.

None of this is an issue on Androids. If Apple would just add menu options to view files as a list / by file name that would solve the issue.

With an Android, you plug them in, and they act like a

thumb drive. You simply make folders like you do in windows and you drag

whatever you want to them. They don’t fuss about file formats, and files can be

moved to any location on the phone.  Super easy. Also you don’t need software to

bring things in and out of the android. Every location on an android has an

extensive view menu to sort by: File name, Title, Date, Time. like this.

These iPhones are so built around the cloud because apple is trying so hard to sell cloud space that they've made things impossible. The problem with the cloud is I don't have time to upload 40 gig every time I want to add files on the phone. What's the point of a fast USB-C connector if you can't bring files in to the files app without the cloud. These phones are so over rated. I'm so sorry I switched to an iPhone.

By the way, your in Photos app on that screenshot you posted Matti, I'm trying to do this on an iPhone

You should be able to view files how YOU THE END USER Wants wherever you are on the phone. If apple doesn't add more view options in an update soon, I'm going back to android. I don't have a choose.

By the way, I like your aviator Matti. Love Floyd. Just went and seen Waters
