Whenever I open the camera, the quality looks fine, but after capturing the picture, it turns out terrible. The picture has a grainy and noisy appearance even in good lighting. When I compare the iPhone 12's front camera with the iPhone 15, the better quality comes from the iPhone 12. I don't know what it is, but it seems like Apple may have compromised the front camera quality this time.

Same here …is there any solution ? I hate my pictures . My face looks grey , SMOKY , grainy ans blurry ! Apple i’m very disappointed hope you’re going to fix this asap , it’s terrible ! My 14 pro max was far better
I traded in my 12 for the phone 15 pro max. IMMEDIATELY hated the camera. I even went to apple with comparison as of screenshots vs what the photo comes out as. They basically told me it's user error and I needed to take some classes on how to use it. I told them I wanted to give them the phone back if there was nothing that could be done, but i was unfortunately past my 14 return window. I have tried everything since and YOU LITERALLY FIXED ME HATING THIS PHONE!!!! THANK YOU!!!
Same. This issue intentional. In video recording or video call they look okay (though bit too edited). But while taking selfie (before capturing) it looks barely okay (still not good). After capturing the photo skin becomes darker, wrinkly and spotty.
they intentionally didn’t add the processing algorithm for selfie. I don’t understand why. Now I only use it to take scenic pictures. Can’t wait to ditch this phone.
Sameee! Apple please any news on this? When taking the picture, lighting is great, and then it comes out without the light, all dark, with dark spots and like if you had the worst skin ever. I am considering moving to samsung galaxy. :(
I recently bought the iphone 15 pro max because I thought my 14 had a problem since after taking a selfie the photo would immediately become dark and grainy. I’m so disappointed because it seems all the iphones above 13 have the exact same problem. For god’s sake should we be buying iphone 11 & 12 with better front cameras ? This needs to be fixed asap .
