iPad Air 4 overheated and it's not turning on after latest update

hi, I have an iPad Air 4, yesterday I updated it to the latest iPad OS and it was fine but today all of a sudden it got really hot, and now it's not turning on. I tried all the methods from the internet like pressing the volume buttons and pressing the power button. The first time I plugged it into the computer i tunes detected it and said it was under DFU mode and I needed to restore it and i proceeded with it. but now not even iTunes is connecting to my iPad and it got disconnected before the download process even began. I'm currently from Sri Lanka and I didn't buy it from here, so the authorized service centers are saying they are only repairing with an Apple Care warranty or I need to buy it from them to do repairs by them and recomnds to buy a new one from them.they are not even looking at it.great service by the way. so what should I do and is there a thing that I could do by myself to fix this? my exams are coming up so please help,

You may have already covered some or this, but making no assumptions:

If your iPad is unresponsive, connect your iPad to its Power Adapter and allow the iPad to charge undisturbed for at least an hour - or preferably overnight. Then, while still connected to external power, try a forced-restart:

Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)

If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:

  1. Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
  3. Press and hold the top button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.

Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.

If iPad still doesn’t turn on, or if it gets stuck during start up, see the Apple Support article If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t turn on or is frozen. Or if your iPad isn’t working correctly after you restart it, see the iPad Support website.
