I just got my Apple watch series 9 and the finger tap functionality is not working. Do I need to set it up or something?

If you are referring to the Apple Watch double tap feature, that will be introduced with a software update soon.

Oh yeah.. Thats really sad cos I bought the watch cos of that functionality.

I believe Apple stated it would be sometime this month, so not much longer to wait.
