Apple Watch Series 6 Disconnecting/Interrupted Bluetooth Connection to Airpods and to Beats Fit Pro whenever there is any movement at all- usual fixes failing
The Apple watch series 6 is either disconnecting entirely or giving stunted/interrupted/gapped bluetooth audio with any pair of bluetooth headphones. It mainly happens when the watch is either moving, or if it is lower or on one side of my body. For example, as I am typing right now, the audio keeps being interrupted due to the movement of my hands on the keyboard and sometimes entirely disconnecting from the headphones. It was a total failure when running the other day. If I keep my hand entirely still, with no movement, in front of my body (e.g. resting on the table) it works fairly normally, though it sometimes still disconnects.
Also, I've noticed that if I move my hand with the watch down (e.g. arms resting normally by side) or behind my back, bluetooth audio goes away/is silent until I move the watch back to table level or chest level hand position in front of my body, and most of the time audio resumes. Sometimes it drops out entirely, and closes spotify, I have to reopen spotify on the watch and repair the headphones to start music again.
The Apple Watch has not been dropped, has not experienced any major knocks or other exposures that would cause a hardware failure, so I'm at a loss what is causing this.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? I would greatly appreciate any advice, thank you!
I use my Apple watch for running, HR tracking, and listening to music while running, but it is entirely useless right now.
I have:
-disconnected/unpaired and reconnected/re-paired everything
-turned bluetooth off on all other devices nearby
-turned the watch on and off
-updated the watch, phone, and headphones to latest OS or firmware
-bought brand new Beats Fit Pro headphones thinking it was just the old Airpods dying (spoiler, it was not the airpods fault)
