I have an iMac 10.3.6 running Safari version 13.1.2. I've been trying to download updates for both, but I'm getting messages that there are none available.

I've cleared my browsing history, rebooted more than once, checked my user name and password but can't get into my online banking account. However, I can open other websites. When I try to download Firefox or Chrome, I get a message that my computer is too old!

What are my options besides invest in a new system?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.13

Okay. So the iMac mid-2010 cannot run any newer macOS version that what you already have installed... 10.13.6 High Sierra. There is no software upgrade path. The only way to get a newer macOS version is to buy a newer machine.

Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) may still work on your Mac.

You can find the download for that here > https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release

Make sure you select the download version Firefox Extended Support Release for the macOS.

Firefox ESR system requirements

This may or may not work with your online banking website(s).

Chrome no longer has a browser version that supports your macOS version.
