SIM card locked

SIM card is locked no service text or talk asking for a passcode

The device is using a SIM PIN, which is a feature designed to restrict access to a SIM card if it's stolen. You will need to enter the SIM PIN after each restart to use the SIM card.


If you forgot your SIM PIN, contact your carrier who can provide a Personal Unblocking Key (PUK). In some cases, the PUK is printed on the credit card sized holder in the SIM card packaging.


If you see "PUK Exhausted," the SIM card has been permanently blocked and you will need to contact your carrier to receive a new SIM card. Never try to guess your SIM PIN or PUK.


If you're not sure which carrier to contact, you can remove the SIM card and look for the logo like this:
