CPU Machine Check Architecture Error Dump

iMac is constantly crashing / re-starting and I'm at a complete loss as to whats causing the issue.


I see quite a few posts on the subject, but nothing appears to be conclusive or followed up on which is strange..


Any advice please?


3.8 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i7

Sonoma 14.0 but this has been happening well before the update

An older version of If your Mac restarted because of a problem contained the following excerpt:


"Note: If you find the term "machine check" in the "Problem Details and System Configuration" field of this report, it may indicate a hardware-related issue."


In the archived version of that document, you will find a number of comprehensive steps in the section titled "Additional Information". Some of them may be outdated or inapplicable to your model Mac, but follow as many of them as you can.


If your troubleshooting efforts fail have Apple evaluate that Mac for a possible hardware fault: Contact Support.
