Can I forward my texts to another device, with a different appleID, like I do my phone calls?

I have a work phone and I’m wanting to forward the texts to my person phone like I do my calls. How do I do that?

On the Apple web page for that iOS - Forward and share messages on iPhone - Apple Support, it says "Go to the Messages app on your iPhone. Trying to have texts (NOT iMessages) forwarded from my iPhone to my Mac. So I want to have text messages (SMS) automatically forwarded from my iPhone to my Mac. I'd call this syncing Message on the two devices, but whatever.. Apple Support says, “On your iPhone, go to Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding. If you don't see Text Message Forwarding, go to Settings > Messages. Turn off iMessage, then turn it back on. Tap Send & Receive, tap Use Your Apple ID for iMessage, then sign in with the same Apple ID used on your other devices.” OK so far. But at "Choose which devices can send and receive text messages..." I'm stumped. I can't get to the screen indicated, the one headed "Text Message Forwarding." Instead I see one headed “iMessage. You can receive imessages to an reply from ...” And my phone and email addresses are listed to be checked on or off. That's the end of my line. What should I do? Thanks. Anne

How do I set up SMS forwarding on an iPhone 15? my work bought an iphone 15 so i can use an eSim for both my number and work number. We researched the ability to forward SMS to another work phone on certain days. But when i set up the phone the option isnt there. The apple support says it was removed on ios 17.5. We cant use same apple ID. Is there away around this, or an app that anyone can suggest? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
