Mac Pro Blue Marks PLEASE HELP

Hey guys.


I keep having this weird issue with my MacBook Pro 16-inch 2021 I got it fixed, and it just did the same thing for about a week and a half after it was fixed it happened again to the other side of the screen I will show the images below. PLEASE HELP

I agree that looks like accidental damage. Looks like some liquid got inside the display by the way the light area meanders plus I have seen the diagonal lines in the corner after coming into contact with liquid. Or maybe hot liquid got on the display since the heat can also affect displays in a negative way. Unfortunately many times I never find out for sure. I do know that the diagonal lines in the corner can be caused by liquid inside the display.


I support & service thousands of computers for our organization. This is my own personal opinion based on decades of supporting my organization's computers.


Your only recourse is to have Apple or an AASP repair the laptop.

Hello Mrtomaohead,


From the appearance of this, it looks like there may be some damage to the display. So what we'd recommend is taking your Mac into a store or contacting Apple for review and possible service. You can find more information at Mac Repair & Service - Apple Support and just be sure the right country is selected at the bottom right of the page.

Thanks for replying, Mrtomaohead, and that additional info, it really helps! If you had an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider Service your MacBook Pro, there is a 90 day warranty for the work performed. If so, you'll want to recontact the service location.
