Can't hear playback when mic is plugged into ipad

I connected my yeti microphone to the iPad and it records fine however I cannot hear what I recorded from the iPad unless I disconnect the yeti completely. Is there a way about this? Is there a setting in the iPad where I can direct the output to come from the iPad speaker ? The problem is real when I’m playing piano for a zoom meeting and they hear the piano but I cannot hear them talking (unless I get up and go disconnect the microphone).( Please don’t direct me to zoom, this is not a zoom problem it happens with every application including the iPad voice recorder or video)

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are unable to hear audio when your Yeti microphone is plugged into your iPad. First, you would need to use the headphone jack on the Yeti microphone and here is more info: https://www.logitech.com/assets/66310/blue-yeti-web-qsg.pdf

You’re not understanding my issue.

The yeti microphone works great with the iPad. I just bought a

USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter

I plug in the yeti in the usb port and it works fine. However the sound doesn’t play back. I was hoping the iPhone headphones would go on the other port so I can hear it play back but it doesn’t work. I want to know how I can hear the sound come out of the iPad or headphones at same time as when the external microphone is plugged in. Do I need to purchase something else to make it work?
