Thank you skompalwar, this fixed it for me. I've been missing so many phone calls because I keep my phone on silent pretty much 247 and the vibration hasn't been working.

I have 15 plus and doesn’t vibrate on silent mode

I have tried everyone’s suggestions and I still can’t hear the vibration on silent mode. In fact I took my phone into the Apple Store and he couldn’t solve the problem either.😩

With each update things get more convoluted and you gotta use these forums to look things up. Apple is starting look like Android OS. Super annoying.
