Why is my iPhone 15 Pro Max not vibrating on silent mode?

My new iPhone 15 will not vibrate on incoming messer call when screen is locked. I have tried the posted instructions and no joy. This is very disappointing

I tried to do that i did all of the steps but when i go to the haptics part under sound and whatever else i forget the name the options under haptics dont show up

Thank you skompalwar, this fixed it for me. I've been missing so many phone calls because I keep my phone on silent pretty much 247 and the vibration hasn't been working.

I have 15 plus and doesn’t vibrate on silent mode

I have tried everyone’s suggestions and I still can’t hear the vibration on silent mode. In fact I took my phone into the Apple Store and he couldn’t solve the problem either.😩
