I’m on Mac mini M1.
Since the update to MacOS Sonoma I can’t print pdf files.
In the Print window I click Print and I get the following message:
“The document could not be printed.”
I click OK and then this message appears:
“There were no pages selected to print.”
I click OK and nothing happens.
I would really appreciate your help with this issue.

I also had an issue printing PDF files after upgrading to Sonoma. Adobe Acrobat would stop responding when I tried to print a document. It was suggested to uninstall Acrobat and reinstall it. This worked for me.
I have the same problem. Could not print from Adobe Acrobat Reader. Am getting a message "The document could not be printed". I opened the PDF file in preview and selected "print". Worked fine. Also you can download free LibreOffice software and print from it.
A work-around is: File / Export to / Image / JPEG. Then print the JPEG document.

I figured out that if I choose print and then on the print screen I choose advanced => print as image, I can now print and it also saves that setting, so I don't have to remember to do it each time.
I had the same problem and simply opened the pdf on Google Chrome and then printed it from there, and it works just fine. Of course it would be better if the new IOS was improving things rather than creating problems!
Are you printing from Acrobat? Have you tried Preview? Or updating Acrobat?

Apple Support told me they do not monitor the internet or these discussion groups - they only learn about problems through people calling up for help, so maybe that is what we have to do!
That is precisely my challenge! The "glitch" is solely related to PDF documents created from Word files using the printing option.

Tried to Uninstall and reinstalling Acrobat and it didn't work for me. So frustrating. I need to print from pdf files.

To temporarily solve this problem until it is fixed, I used Google Chrome to print the PDF file. This worked for me.
I also have this problem with incorrect print of pdf documents. When convert document from PDF to Word everything if Ok. I hope that apple will solve issues in next updates.
Download free LibreOffice (open source software) app. Open the PDF file in LibreOffice, then print. Works for me.
I just upgraded to Sonoma 14.5 and I am having this problem. Any updates? I will try Libre Office.
