Unable to print PDF file after updating to macOS Sonoma.

I too am having an issue with printing PDF documents. MAC Mini OS Sonoma 14.3.1 presents the issue. I have to convert the document to a word file and then I can print it. The message in Acrobat Distiller is Can't open*/private/VAR/Spool/cups/TMP/0129865d327e8."

How do we remedy this Apple?

Apple Support told me they do not monitor the internet or these discussion groups - they only learn about problems through people calling up for help, so maybe that is what we have to do!

That is precisely my challenge! The "glitch" is solely related to PDF documents created from Word files using the printing option.

I noticed someone said the bullet problem was fixed in 14.1, but it could have also been a coincident Word update.

Older Word versions work fine in Sonoma.

I also have this problem with incorrect print of pdf documents. When convert document from PDF to Word everything if Ok. I hope that apple will solve issues in next updates.

This is a known problem since the Sonoma update, although Apple tech support helping me with anothr issue said they had not heard of it. I can't print a pdf from Preview or any other App. I don't use Acrobat.

Me too! I can print, but the page is just little rectangles where each letter/number should be. I can print the same document in its Word format, but not PDF. I hope the techs monitor these discussions, since there's no app failure which allows for an alert to Apple.

Are you generating that PDF from a Word Document? There are several posts documenting Word having issues printing bullets. It sounds like some sort of font conflict with current version of Word 365. I have an older version of Word and I don't have any such problems printing.

I am having the same issue as maccamotu -- I have upgraded on a new Mac Air M2 to 14.1.1 and downloaded pdfs from the internet, saved to desktop and when I print, the printer works, but the pages are blank. -- worked fine before the FIRST upgrade of 14.1

I used the PDF file from the internet and generated it from WORD, facing no issues at all. I know Adobe just released an update to Acrobat, but if you are saying the issue also happens on the Preview app, probably the update will not correct your issue.

I don't want to install a lower version. I paid for Acrobat Pro. I also don't want to uninstall/reinstall. I have my own 'tools' set up with all the functions I typically use. I'd have to re-do everything.

I've also heard older posts (well over a year back) where Apple said it's a known issue. Why is it taking so long to be resolved ?

Tried to Uninstall and reinstalling Acrobat and it didn't work for me. So frustrating. I need to print from pdf files.
