IOS 17.0.3 problems

I’m using iOS 17.0.3 and someone called me to say that I called them but I did not. There was no outgoing call. Is my phone randomly calling people since the update?

And I’m also having difficulty moving the cursor to areas in text messages that I want to edit. I can’t get to the start of the text, and other areas.
