Pairing Replacement Apple Watch with iPhone 6
How do I pair my replacement Apple Watch (WATCH SE (GPS) ALUM 40MM) with iPhone 6s? I get a message saying the iPhone OS is not up to date.

The replacement watch may have the watchOS updated to a version the iPhone 6s cannot support. For example watchOS 10 requires at least an iPhone XS with iOS 17. I don't believe an iPhone 6s can be updated beyond iOS 15.
