USB-C cable won't attach to bottom of 2nd Gen Airpod Pro case

Troubleshooting a Loose USB-C Connection:

Is it all cables? Or is it jus this cable? If it is just this cable, then there may be some physical damage to the cable. If all cables, then it is likely a damage with the port, in which case you must get this serviced.

I just noticed a similar problem, but only the USB-C cables by Apple did not stay put and with a little movement would even kind of "eject" from the port. But when I use e.g. a USB-C cable made by e.g. Bose or Belkin, the cable stays in the port just fine. That is why I did not notice the problem before because I usually use other cables and wireless charging. The cables by Apple work fine with my iPad and MacBook Pro. So difficult to say if the port has damage or if the problem was there from the beginning.

I have continued using wireless charging for now. I discussed about the problem with an Apple sales representative (in Finland where I live) and he advised to bring them to be checked on warranty. Planning to do so in a few weeks, I have warranty until October so the issue is not urgent for me.

I guess it is best to take the Airpods for a check if there is warranty left. The sales representative said that there is not any larger repair program declared by Apple so it should not be a common problem.

What was the solution? Use non-Apple C-charging cords? I have the same problem.
