Ordered a new Apple Ultra2 watch and try to start pairing to my iPhone. Already updated my iPhone to the latest version iOS16.7.1 but the pairing fails because the message says the new watch IOS software is not up to date. And there's no option to install a newer software to the watch without successful pairing and connect to WiFi.

Unfortunately, to use the new Apple Watch ultra, running iOS 10, you will need an iPhone running iOS 17 or higher. If your iPhone is not compatible with iOS 17, you can not use that watch.
