🍏tv+ app missing from aTV 4K when using multiple users

I use an Apple TV 4K with multiple user accounts, some of them in countries that do not support Apple TV+ yet (like central European ones).

The Apple TV is updated to the latest tvOS version (for reference now it is 17) and up until tvOS 17 I never had any issue using the tv+ app when switching between user accounts.

However, after updating to tvOS 17, something has happened since the tv+ app keeps disappearing, even for the user account that is connected to a supported country AppStore and has a paid subscription for the tv+ services.

It seems to me that the AppStore app is not being changed between user accounts and stays somewhat stuck, as the only thing thet successfully helped bring back the tv+ app, was forcing the AppStore to change to the supported country by trying to install an app that I know is not present in the unsupported tv+ country.

Has anyone else experienced this, is there any way to force the AppStore to change countries when changing user account, automatically?

Hi MeMonarch,

From the support article Share Apple TV with multiple users:

"you can create unique user profiles on Apple TV associated with the Apple ID of each household member, with Up Next lists, system language preferences, paired AirPods settings, music, Game Center data, and content recommendations personalized for the currently active user"(emphasis added)

As App Store country settings are not listed in that article, the best option may be to consult Apple Support directly to investigate if you feel the service is not working as expected for clarification.
