HomePod Mini won’t play my playlists

This is what happened leading up to the situation, for no apparent reason our house disappeared on the Apple HomeKit app on my wife’s iPhone and iPad while everything was fine on mine. I contacted Apple Support who really tried to solve the problem, we tried removing my wife details in the home settings and then invite her to join the home again, we did this and even though it showed her details as approved she still could not access any HomeKit accessories.

They suggested to setup our Homekit app again from the beginning and invite her to join again, we did this now she has access to all the accessories on the HomeKit but now NONE of our 3 HomePod mini’s will play MY Apple Music Playlists but they WILL play my wife’s playlists, we have the larger HomePod in the conservatory this works fine for both of us.

I’ve tried re-setting the HomePod Mini’s numerous times, signed out of my Apple account and signed back in again, accept personal requests are selected on the HomePod’s, nothing seems to work, I don’t understand how I can play my Apple Music playlists on the HomePod in one room and not listen on the other 3 HomePod’s

I’ve never had any main issues with Apple products before but this is really annoying

Any ideas how to solve this problem, I don’t really want to setup the HomeKit App again, it didn’t work last time 😡

I have had this happen and is still happening with my account and our two HomePod mini's. I have always had problems with the mini playing playlists to the point of naming the playlists easy words in combinations that would not be mistaken for any common phrase. Siri gets confused if there is any playlist is named something too complex or misspelled and will just start playing some random song. For me the mini's worked pretty well in the beginning, but now they are just a disaster. We have jumped through all the hoops you have. Resets, rebuilding our Home, etc. As far as I am concerned the mini is a broken product. In the mean time I have to push my playlists to the minis from my Mac or iPhone. I keep hoping that Apple will fix it with an update. With that said, after every update our minis will forget who I am and the whole thing starts all over. Apple needs to forget about new features and work on bug fixes.
