Somone else told me, that the highest HiDPI resolution we get with an Apple M2 Pro on a:

32:9 @ 5120x1440 is 3840x1080

with my current macMini M1 i get maximal 3008 x 846 (beside the to small 5120x1440 of course)

Thanks but that only says:

p to three displays: Two displays with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz over Thunderbolt and one display with up to 4K resolution at 60Hz over HDMI
Up to two displays: One display with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz over Thunderbolt and one display with up to 4K resolution at 144Hz over HDMI
One display with up to 8K resolution at 60Hz or 4K resolution at 240Hz over HDMI

Nothing about 5120x1440

That Mac mini can do 8k at 60Hz from one of the Thunderbolt/USB-C ports. The offered Resolution depends on the connection and cable.

Using an 8K USB-C to DisplayPort will provide the best wide screen resolution options.

Sadly....

1) that display doesn't get very high reviews for performance or longevity.

2) not many, will have that exact setup to test or report the maximum widescreen resolution.

thank you very much for teh answer, but have you even read my question?

I asked:

Which native HiDPI resolutions do we get with an Apple M2 Pro on a 32:9 @5120x1440 screen?

I assumed that someone already use this configuration and can just tell me which resolution he get, and not a generic answer like youyrs which I can find myself by using a search engine.
