After free trial of Simple I cancelled it but now I am being billed

I did a 3 day trial of Simple, immediately cancelled it but am now being billed $79.20 every 3 months.

the subscription appears as expired so can’t delete it from my apple id.

Agios Anthanas claims it’s an Apple issue, Apple says it’s an APP issue.

My bank suggested canceling my cc but that i really don’t think that’s the solution.

Anyone else experience this fraud?

If its expired, then it cannot be charging you anymore. Expired subscriptions have ended and are completely inactive.

What makes you think the 79.20 charge is for that expired Simple subscription exactly?

If you see the charge on your CC's statement as "Simple", then it has nothing to do with Apple, and is being charged by Simple directly. Check your account with them on their website in that case.

If you see apple.com/bill on CC's statement, then it is coming from Apple, but its probably not from the Simple subscription.

Check all your active subscriptions.

I ask again, what makes you think you were charged by that app specifically? Why not any of the other expired subscriptions for instance?

I will explain it one more time: Charges from Apple do not specify what they are for. If you see the name of the App in your monthly statement, then the charge did not come from Apple and by extension did not come from that expired subscription on your Apple account, and such, you need to deal with the Canadian Citizenship app developers directly through their website.

If you don't see the name of the App on your statement, and just see "apple.com/bill", what makes you think it comes from that particular subscription?

EXPIRED APPS CANNOT CHARGE YOU.

You seem to have multiple weekly subscriptions to multiple different apps named similarly but that are not the same app.

It would stand to reason there's other's with similarly named apps that are still active on your account. There's literally dozens of Apps with a name similar to "Canadian Citizenship Test" in the app store. You will need to find every subscription for every app you downloaded and cancel it.

Expired subscriptions cannot charge you. Those Canadian Citizenship test apps that showed as expired will no longer charge you, but any others that are still active with a similar name will still charge you.
