Hi Ronmancuso
welcome to the Apple (user-to-user) Community!
Re: "my Mac is up to date according to everything".
So am assuming you have MacOS Sonoma installed, or the newest compatible MacOS for your iMac (model?)
(or Find out which macOS your Mac is using - Apple Support)
(How to: Identify your iMac model - Apple Support)

Re: "You still do not allow me to sign into my Chase accounts. WHY"
We are all Apple users, like yourself in the Community. We have no access to your details. Apple is not here.
We'd like to help however, yet we do not have much info. to go on ... not even Mac Model and MacOS version.

Re: "Why can't things stay the same".
Fact: Everything in technology moves forward, including keeping ahead of criminal activity.

Re: "I need to get into my Chase accounts as I do check them EVERYDAY."
"Now it is saying to update my browser"
Wondering :
what happens when you try ... (eg: an error message which would help troubleshoot, a lost log-in or password)
and
what you have already tried in order to solve the situation (eg: contacted Chase: which browser they require)
(Apple's current Safari browser is Safari Version 17:
If you want to double-check your Safari's version: Click Safari in top menu bar > About Safari)
Just checked Chase website : Re browsers :
https://www.chase.com/digital/resources/privacy-security/security/system-requirements
Chase says: For questions or concerns, please contact Chase customer service
All the best :-)
