remove apple pay setup reminder

Updating to ios 17 has now re-prompted the "finish your setup" reminders for apple pay. I don't want to use apple pay. How do I remove the reminders?

Go to the Settings app

Go to Notifications > Wallet

Turn off Allow Notifications

Go to Wallet & Apple Pay

Turn off Apple Cash and Double-Click Home Button

Go to Safari > Advanced

Turn off Check for Apple Pay

Go to the Wallet app

Choose the card in question

Click on the “…” to manage the card settings

Switch off notifications

View in context
