On iPhone should the WiFi be on or off for calling
If your carrier offers the Wi-Fi Calling option, you should enable it on your phone unless you already have terrific signal quality on your phone.

That’s up to you. Mine is on. I get poor cell coverage in some parts of my house. WiFi calling helps significantly.
