trying to download microsoft office that i purchased and it's not downloading. Wondering if os15 or something is needed to make it compatible

What happens when you try to download it exactly?
Does it issue an error?
If so what does it say?
macOS 15 does not exist. The most current version of macOS is macOS 14 Sonoma.
The current version of the Microsoft Office Apps for Mac, Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point require macOS 12 Monterey or later It won't work on macOS 11.7 Big Sur.
However, it should say as much when you try to download it.
