How can I block Tik Tok from my kids phones?
I want to block my kids from downloading Tik Tok (and any other apps). I have parental controls set to disallow their use, but they are still able to use it. I see that I can allow specific apps. Why hasn't Apple provided a straight forward way to block apps that parents do not approve??? And the purchased hide option does not work as TikTok app is free for example

Your options are:
You can set daily limits for app categories with App Limits."TikTok falls under Entertainment: "TikTok 12+ Videos, Music & Live Streams TikTok Ltd. #1 in Entertainment'
You might want to access certain apps, even if it's downtime or if you set the All Apps & Categories app limit."Make downtime all day, and only allow certain app that you want to allow.
When you schedule downtime in Settings, only phone calls and apps that you choose to allow are available."Set times for homework, school, or whatever you want, be it 30 minutes before bedtime, or all hours during school, etc. that only the phone app works for emergencies.

Thank you, I have done all that. Problem is that the time limit does not work on TikTok and I am not able to remove the app from my AppStore as it is not listed as purchased so the fact that I am deleting the tik rok app on my daughters mobile does not remove it from it fully hence it is not going under not allowed apps to download. Very tricky how Apple is not helping parents to make it just simple and easy to manage that
