How to upgrade my iPhone 7 to iOS 16

You trade it in or sell it and use the proceeds to buy a newer phone.

You will need an iPhone 8 or higher model to install iOS 16.

If you want to install iOS 17, you will need an iPhone XS, XR or higher.

The iPhone 7 will stay on iOS 15. It cannot run iOS 16. The iPhone 7 is too old.

It's Microsoft who develops the Microsoft Outlook app for the iPhone. And it's Microsoft who decided that the current version of the app would require iOS 16.0 or later. You may "need" the app – and tell us that you "don't have money to buy anather [sic] iPhone," – but that won't change the fact that the app requires an iOS version that cannot run, and will never run, on your iPhone 7 Plus.

If you don't have money for a newer phone, you'll need to do without this app on your phone, and look for other ways to access your e-mail and calendars.

You could provide feedback to Microsoft. Realistically, that is not likely to convince them to release a version of that app that will run on the iPhone 7 Plus.

That is correct. The current version of the Adobe Lightroom app "requires iOS 16.0 or later." Your iPhone 7 will never be able to run iOS 16.0 or later.

Therefore, you will not be able to run that app on your current iPhone.

You could try asking Netflix to (re-)release an app that runs on iOS 15, but I suspect that they won't.
