Your message is unclear. Are you referring to new features in iOS 16? As long as you are using an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus, you will not have access to these features, as those iPhones cannot run that version of iOS.

The iPhone 7 Plus will not run iOS 16. It doesn't matter how much you need it. For that iPhone (introduced in September 2016 and discontinued in September 2019), the latest release of iOS 15 is the end of the line.

The closest you can come to having "iOS 16 in iPhone 7 Plus" is to use the Notes app on the iPhone 7 Plus to create a note saying "To run apps that need iOS 16 or later, I will need to get a newer iPhone."

Then you'll have the words "iOS 16" in your iPhone 7 Plus – together with a hopefully-useful reminder.

An iPhone 7 can only update to iOS 15.

You trade it in or sell it and use the proceeds to buy a newer phone.

You will need an iPhone 8 or higher model to install iOS 16. If you want to install iOS 17, you will need an iPhone XS, XR or higher.
