iPhone won't print after iOS 17 update

cannot print from my iPhone since iOS 17. I use an app on the background of my iMac - HandyPrint. My printer is connected to the mac and all iPhones and iPads can print via the iMac wirelessly. Two of my iPhones are update to the latest iOS 17 and cannot print anymore. The rest which has iOS 16 have no problem.

No changes were made to the printer, iMac (Sonoma 14) or the app HandyPrint.

Share some advice pls.

I have the same problem. Printer appears but when you select it it disappears.

I was having the same issue with my iPhone not printing after IOS 17! I found a solution that worked for me!

I.I completely powered off my iPhone by swiping.closed.

2.Next I turned off my printer.

3.Lastly I unplugged my router for 15 seconds.

I then plugged the router back in.
turned my iPhone back on.
turned my printer on again!

This worked for me! I can now print again from my iPhone!

in my case it started with ios update (17.03), the printer is working normaly with my iMac or ios devices with older iOs

For those using handyPrint: unfortunately the publisher Netputing and their website has disappeared, so it seems that updates to make it compatible with iOS 17 may not be forthcoming. (See this Reddit thread.)

I couldn't print from my iPhone to handyPrint after upgrading to iOS 17. I just downloaded and installed Printopia and it's working fine again. There is a free 7 day trial so I will see how reliable it is before paying, but it looks like this is regularly updated as it promises iOS 17 compatibility. Works just the same as handyPrint.

I had same issue with it appearing and disappearing after i chose printer.

I updated the firmware on my canon printer. Then it could print again.

I have the same problem with my Epson and HP printers since the update. The document appears but disappears before I can print

Hmm didn’t work here although my printer got a new up address. It sees it but won’t keep it

I have a Canon also and updated the printer firmware. It works fine now.

thanks for the suggestion. Still won't print. I get the same response. To select a printer, the finding circle spins, then drops back to No pinter selected.
