Mac Mail generates unclosable empty windows

My MacMail has started generating empty windows that can be minimised, full-screened but not closed.

The first appears within 2 secs of start up, mpore appear over time using the program.

Two things you might try is to force quit mail, then reopen it while pressing and holding the Shift Key. Then test again.

Secondly, try performing a safe boot that clears out temp cache files and fixes many anomalies it finds during boot up. Then boot back to normal and test again.

My guess it that the problems will not happen


If am correct - this would mean there is an email somewhere in the Mail Application that can not Call Home to something that is in that email


Usually, the email maybe from a Vender or Mailing List you have Subscribed.


It will require the user ( you ) to find and delete the email while still without an Internet Connection
