iPad logged me out of better me app and I cannot get back in.

I downloaded and purchased the better me app for a whole year less than a month ago through App Store. I tried to open the app today and I’m no longer logged in and it’s as if my app has been reset and my log in details were not saved not even in the saved passwords. I tried to log in using my email from Apple ID (as I have paid for the subscription with iTunes) amd what I assumed was the password but it was incorrect. I’ve tried resetting the password but they did not send me an email to do it despite the app telling me it had. I’ve not paid a years subscription for an app I cannot access. I do not want to add a new account because it will charge me again.

how to I recover my app log in?

It’s incredibly difficult to do so in the app. I did try to send a support request through their website (again a pain to navigate and do) so far I just have auto email with a ticket number and a promise they will get a human to respond to me. I’ve also gone through all my email accounts and I do not have any emails from them regarding signing up. But I do have emails asking me to sign up. Despite having an active subscription. But I don’t understand how it could be any other email than the one I use for my Apple ID if I paid through iTunes?
