How to make Apple Watch not display Music controller or other multimedia when it's playing on the iPhone?

When my iPhone is playing a song on Apple Music, or when it's playing other multimedia (Spotify or YouTube Music), the Apple Watch is always displaying its miniature controller.

How to make the Apple Watch not display that controller?

So I can see what time it is on it, even though I'm currently listening to music...

Hello andy js,

It sounds like you may be referring to the Auto-Launch Audio Apps feature.

This feature can be disabled in the iPhone's Watch app > General > Auto-Launch > Toggle off Auto-Launch Audio Apps.
