Playing previews

Why is my apple music playing previews only? i am on the family package and i always experience this when i sign into my account on the laptop

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities about Apple Music. See if you have an active subscription with your account by playing Apple Music on the web:


"Listen to Apple Music on the web

  1. Go to music.apple.com.
  2. Sign in with the Apple ID and password that you use with your Apple Music subscription."


If that works, try again in the app. Check any third-party security apps. It might be as simple as finding your Norton or whatever security app you are using, clicking to open it, and then clicking allow.


Resolve issues between iCloud for Windows or iTunes and third-party security software - Apple Support


If it's not working on the web also, check you have a paid subscription and are using the correct Apple ID and password:
