My phone app mic is not working but I can hear everyone on the other end. When I test my mic it works on voice memos and other apps like Snapchat. I’ve called Apple support and did the steps but ultimately made an appointment at Best Buy but by then it started working again so I decided no point in going maybe it was just a glitch. So this is the second time it’s happening just the weirdest problem.

Hi Guys, I just had the same issue. I tried nearly everything. I was so close in restoring the whole phone. But god thanks the last stupid try worked out :)
During the call click on the MIC MUTE BUTTON on the Screen and than remove the mute again. After that it worked for me again.
It did not show the whole time that the mic is on mute but it was. I think there is a software issue.

I had the same issue it was the Magsafe case magnet that caused it
Do you have a magsafe case on it?
Try Taking the case off and restarting the phone
try removing the case - I know it sounds crazy... Let me know

Yeah I recorded a video of it and took the case off still doesn’t work just on 3rd party apps
I use a mag charger overnight 🤔 I wonder if that’s what’s causing it
