i can’t get my AirPods to work right. They will connect to my phone and make that noise that lets you know they are. However, if I try to play music it will go through my phone. I’ve tried disconnecting my AirPods and reconnecting them. I’ve tried to close all my tabs. I’ve tried turning off Bluetooth on my phone and turning it back on, nothings working. If anyone knows anything I can try, please lmk

Are you able to switch to your AirPods when you have something playing?
Try these steps:
On your iPhone or iPad
1. Open Control Center on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Touch and hold the audio card in the upper-right corner of Control Center to control audio.
3. Tap, then choose the device that you want from the list.2
Switch your AirPods to another device
