It sounds like you're having some audio concerns with one of your AirPods when on a call. We can help.
A good place to start is with these steps If your left or right AirPod isn't working:
If there's low volume in one AirPod
If your left or right AirPod isn't playing any sound, or if the volume is too quiet, follow these steps:
1. Check the microphone and speaker mesh on each AirPod.
2. If there's any debris, clean your AirPods.
3. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual > Balance, and make sure that the balance is set in the middle.
If you continue to run into difficulty, you can connect with Apple directly using either Get Support or if you're in a region without direct support options, you can also Contact Apple for support and service.
