Repeated Charge Notifications

I just recently bought the IPhone 15 Pro Max and I keep getting charging notifications again and again even without touching it. I am using both the original charger adapter and cable and I had no issue with my IPhone 14 Pro Max. Is anyone else having this issue??

Hi SRG7223,

It sounds like you're having an issue charing your new iPhone. While the iPhone 15 does have a different charger port than the iPhone 14, check out the information below from the article here: Charge and connect with the USB-C connector on your iPhone 15 - Apple Support

"Charge your iPhone

You can charge your iPhone with a USB-C cable and power adapter compliant with the USB-C standard, including USB Power Delivery — such as the cable that comes with your iPhone. These cables and power adapters are widely available from Apple and other manufacturers.

Connect the cable to the USB-C connector on your iPhone and to a compatible USB-C power adapter. Then plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.

If you have a 20W USB-C power adapter or higher-wattage USB-C power adapter — like the one that came with your Mac laptop — you can use it with your iPhone for faster charging. You can also charge your iPhone by connecting it to the USB-C port on your computer."

If you continue to see an alert, test the steps outlined here: If your iPhone or iPod touch won't charge

I have this happen as well. It doesn't matter if the phone is face up, or face down. I have to use the side key to silence phone notifications since I usually charge it when I'm going to sleep every couple of days. The response from the community specialist looks like a canned response and not personalized, otherwise they would see that our phones do charge, they just give repeated charge notifications. I didn't have this issue on my 13+ pro max.

I have the iPhone 15 Pro Max as well now.

I just bought the IPhone 15 pro. I've had no problems charging this week with the anker battery pack wireless charger or the plug, until tonight. Tonight I'm getting repeated alerts that the phone is charging. (It's as though I'm plugging in the cable repeatedly only I am not.) The light alert comes on at the top of the screen along with the sound and vibration, As I am typing this, it's done it 6 times showing me that my battery was at 28%, and now 5 times at 29%. This is fun. How do I make this stop? (Apple brick and Apple cord). And just started... 4 days? after purchase.
