Hello,
Running OS Ventura 13.5 on my macbook Air 15" . I had before macbook 15" pro late 2013. i can't use to size of letters despite both pcs have same resolution. but old macbook pro has bigger letters and bolder. how to achieve this without changing resolution and avoid my eyes' pain?

FWIW, the two displays are not the same size or resolution. the 2013 15" MBP had a 15.4" screen, a 2880 by 1800 resolution at 220 ppi. The 2023 15" MBA has a 15.3" screen, a 2880 by 1864 resolution at 224 ppi. So the GUI would appear slightly smaller. There may also be differences between the two versions of macOS that can run on them. That may be why you are seeing a difference.

There's not much you can do to increase the font size in the menu bar but using the Dark Mode makes it much easier to see small text.
This is larger than actual but you can see how the contrast makes it easy to read.

had to change resolution at the end. apple big dissappointment... still i face issue how to set brightness. too less dont see letters i add brightnessit shines too much agressive to eyes. what did they do to display I dont get it, 10 year old macbook pro and display is not that aggressive. another off topic issue i want to prevent when i open lid that system starts to boot. we pay insane amount of money just to find out that apple is forcing to us its weird politics.

who removed my post then? this is apple page right? if not apple someone deleted it and I hate censorship...i will post my feedback there(quite a lot of things) but still I need to find out why is display so aggressive. also refresh rate is now available . clicking option and scaled buttons(show me a picture I must be doing something wrong) does not seem to work..
The site is hosted by Apple and it's moderated for content. I'm sure you received an email explaining why your post was removed. I didn't see it so I haven't a clue. There are rules about what you can and can't post here. If you feel that is censorship, there are other forums you can post to.

that is not such big difference,come on... also display is insanely agressive to the eyes dont know how to correct it. i am looking for refresh rate under display option its not there...
