iPadOS updated to 17.0.3 last night. Text Replacement has stopped working, Anyone else experienced this, or know a work around? The length of the replacement doesn’t affect the outcome. None work.

iPadOS17 appears to have changed the way that text replacement works.
Instead of immediately replacing the typed shortcut with the phrase, you should now see the phrase offered at the top of the on-screen keyboard. By example:
apl
To make the substitution, simply tap the offered phrase.
