Missing Airpods

I lost my AirPods wither case somewhere in my apartment, is there a way I can have them make some kind of sound while in the closed case please? I have been looking for them for almost a week now and ‘Find Me’ says it’s in my apartment. I’m going crazy 🙄🙄🤣

If AirPod Pros are reset, will they disappear from the FindMy app? I can't find my AirPods Pros and my apartment isn't very big. Using the FindMy app I am unable to locate them even when I've walked all around my place. Checked the car, same thing. The last location was more than a day ago and has my building's address (obviously can't say which apartment). The batteries for the case and pods shouldn't be dead, maybe not full charged but not dead. I've marked them as lost but still can't find any trace of the AirPods. My question is, if someone found and reset my AirPods, would they automatically be removed from my FindMy app? Or is it possible that the AirPods were found, reset and still show up in my FindMy app just appearing like they have not be connected for over a day? Thank you.

I lost my Airpods pro gen 2 case without earbuds in it. I lost my Airpods pro gen 2 case without earbuds in it. I tried to locate it in find my app and it's not beeping (play sound is not working). Find nearby is asking to try a different location even when i am in the area where the directions have taken me. It's likely that my case is discharged. Any idea on how i can still locate it?

Hi Omofinnest,

To have your AirPods play a sound, follow Find your lost AirPods with Find My and in step 3, you can have them play a sound.

Note: "Your iPhone might take longer than expected to connect to your AirPods to play a sound or find nearby."
