Can’t turn off auto play in apple music

Hi! I have an iPhone 13 Pro and Apple Music frequently starts playing randomly on my car speaker, in my AirPods, etc. I am not an Apple Music subscriber; I have tried to find the auto play button following instructions from other posts but I only have shuffle and repeat. I have four paid songs in my library from an iMovie project. I have shut down the app, shut down my phone, tried to play an apple playlist per another community post to force auto play to appear- but as a non subscriber I can’t access those. Any advice? My husband has the same problem. Thanks!
