Suddenly no WhatsApp notifications? [Series 9]

I have checked everything I’ve found online about this. I have a series 9 watch and nothings worked.

All of my notifications are on, on both my phone and watch for WhatsApp. And I’ve switched them all on and off.

Bluetooth is connected to both devices.

I have restarted my watch and phone.

The only thing I’ve done newly with the watch is deleted a few apps I didn’t think I needed. One being outlook which I’ve never used before. Could I have deleted something that would cause this?

I was getting WhatsApp notifications before why is it suddenly not working on the watch?

Welcome Yerichu,

This is something we can definitely assist you with, thanks for posting here.

It can be hard to say why this may have happened, but we'd like to share some recommendations which could get things working again. Restarting your Apple Watch and your iPhone, as well as double checking those notifications was exactly where we would have started as well. If that didn't do the trick, however, then we would next like to advise seeing if you have any available updates that you can install to watchOS - the operating system your watch runs on. Here is how you would check: Update your Apple Watch - Apple Support

We think it's unlikely that deleting Outlook or another app would have affected the notification settings.

If WhatsApp is the only app not notifying you, then you may also consider uninstalling and reinstalling that app on your iPhone. This will also cause the app to be removed and re-added to your Apple Watch as well and may help resolve this issue.

We hope this does the trick for you!

Cheers.
