How can i unlock my old iPad with a new Apple ID? My old ipad was set-up using my apple ID with an old email address. Can’t use my old Apple ID I accidentally put in my old Apple ID email and now my new iPhone will not let me enter my regular Apple ID email. It says unavailable. I have tried to add the right email or delete the old one but I keep getting the error

How do I sign into an older email/Apple ID that was attached to my iPad at one point? In setting up the new iPad all was going well until it insisted I sign in with an old Apple ID (old service provider no longer exists) not used for years. Have found others with the problem but from a few years ago and with no real solution. Any ideas? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
