Apple Home automations not working

After adding a Meross Garage door Opener kit my timed automations are not running at all. I have multiple Meross HomeKit enabled devices and have for the past 6 months. Could adding 1 more device really be causing automations not to run at their designated times?

Homekit automations not working First, my iMac and iPhone are both running the current OS. Starting about 2 weeks ago, my Homekit Automations, which configure smart plugs to turn on and off as certain times of the day, will not stay set. It will always change back to another, apparently arbitrary, time scheduling. This occurs whether I use the iMac or iPhone Homekit app to try and setup the Automations I want. What should I do? Delete the Homekit app and start over?

Apple Home app crashes when I open Automations A few days ago, the Home app stopped responding. The screen would go black, and the app would close unexpectedly. I updated to the latest version of iOS, checked for updates, restarted the device, and even removed my HomePods to delete the app and reinstall it, but the result is always the same. After running some tests, I deleted all my Scenes and Automations. Suddenly, it started working correctly again. Then I discovered that if I create automations directly in the Home app, it works fine. However, if I add an automation from a third-party app (like Controller for HomeKit), the app freezes, crashes, and I can’t open it again. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app. And if I don’t remove those third-party automations, the app freezes whenever I try to access the Automations section. The behavior is the same on iPhone, iPads and Mac OS. I have more than 100 connected devices and many automations that I can’t configure solely with Apple Home, so I rely on Controller to make them work. I’m surprised it worked flawlessly for years, and I haven’t found anyone reporting a similar issue. Any ideas? I’d prefer not to have to delete my Home and start from scratch if possible =)

Why do my home automation outlets stay on all night instead of turning off after 2 hours? I have some automations which turn on outlets to turn on lights at sunset and then turn them off in 2 hours. Sometimes they stay on all night. The lights can be turned on and off directly from the list in the Home app. They used to turn off, but no more. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Automated Scenes work by asking Siri to run them but these scenes also have designated times to run and don’t.
