Share location unavailable please try again later

Me and my friend used to share locations and then I stoped sharing but I tried to put it back and it’s not letting me now. I have tried everything from toggle to reset my phone and nothing seems to be working. I can see their location and my location is on but it won’t let me share it with them and it’s only them. Please help I’m getting frustrated to be honest I told them to unshare their location with me and it’s still not working. I tried sharing location form message and from find my iPhone and nothing is working.

To share your location with your friends, we recommend that you try the steps here: Share your location in Find My on iPhone - Apple Support

To perform the recommended troubleshooting steps via the link above, complete the steps in the section titled "Share your location with a friend."

1. Tap , then choose Share My Location.

2. In the To field, type the name of a friend you want to share your location with (or tap and select a contact).

3. Tap Send and choose how long you want to share your location.

You can also notify a friend or family member when your location changes.

If you’re a member of a Family Sharing group, see Share your location with family members.

We recommend the steps above because they will show you how to share your location with a friend.
